Overview
Leopard Mom is an AI family assistant. Our assistant, Leo, helps parents and guardians keep track of their family’s schedules, school information, and daily logistics. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We may collect information that you provide to us about yourself and your family, including children’s names, schools, schedules, activities, and preferences. This information is used to personalize the assistance Leo provides.
WhatsApp messages
We process messages you send to Leo over WhatsApp and retain conversation history in order to provide the service, respond to your requests, and maintain context across conversations. Voice messages are transcribed to text so Leo can understand them; we keep the text and do not retain the audio.
You can connect an email address you own by confirming a link we send to it. After that, emails you choose to send or forward to Leo’s address are processed like your WhatsApp messages. Leo does not have access to your inbox and never reads, searches or monitors your mail; it only receives what you send it.
Leo Family Calendar
Leo keeps one private Google calendar for each family, held in a Leopard Mom account and containing the schedule information you and the other caregivers in your family share with Leo. We share that calendar, view-only, with the confirmed email address of each active caregiver in the family so it appears in their own Google Calendar; Google sends the invitation. We never share it with anyone outside your family, never make it public, and do not read, change or connect to any of your own Google calendars. If a caregiver leaves the family or removes the address, we remove that address’s access. You can ask Leo at any time to stop sharing the calendar with you.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers necessary to operate Leopard Mom, including providers for infrastructure and data storage, AI processing, messaging delivery, and calendar integration. Information may be shared with these providers as necessary to operate and provide Leopard Mom.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate operational purposes, such as maintaining conversation context and improving reliability. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s information
Leopard Mom is intended for use by parents and guardians, not directly by children. Any information about a child is provided and managed by that child’s parent or guardian, who is responsible for ensuring it is accurate and appropriate to share.
